EFA Project Space artist Cui Fei has been selected to produce an outdoor work for Socrates Sculpture Park. Each year Socrates Sculpture Park selects artists to produce outdoor artworks within the Park. This year's theme has sculptures that are subtly mysterious, visually compelling, and, at times, provocative.

Scott Teplin

EFA Studio Artist Scott Teplin has just launched Drawing Experiement IV: Passive Aggressive Portraits. From now until Oct. 31, 2012 Teplin is taking orders for portraits of people that the submittors love/don't love. Patrons fill out a patented 'gross-out preference form', upload a photo and wait for their watercolor to arrive in the mail. Drawing Experiment I, II and III sold out quickly, so Teplin may close down orders before Oct. 31.

Max Razdow

Max Razdow's essay "Epic Form in Video" has been published by The Maximilian, an Australian online journal of art theory and criticism.  "Epic Form in Video" an essay he wrote for his curatorial project EPIC, which was shown in Ghent and Antwerp Belgium, in collaboration with curator and musician Jan Van Woensel in 2011.
