“Printmaking provides a structure to separate one’s thought processes, a recognition of the steps one must go through to create anything. Images begin with an idea, a conceptual direction. As the relationships between the different components evolve, I adjust them, respond to them, and grow with them as they develop into individual pieces. Printmaking allows me the opportunity and flexibility to mix, mingle and cross-reference images to truly explore aspects of visual meaning and interpretation.”
