Please join EFA Project Space and Telephone for a night of collaborative translation as we wrap up Telefone Sem Fio: Word-Things of Augusto de Campos Revisited. Tonight we welcome a music/vocal peformance by Telefone Sem Fio artist/poet Edwin Torres and guest Sean Meehan, followed by a concrete poetry-inspired game of 'Telephone'.

Doors open at 6pm, performance and game to begin at 6:30pm. Please note that the exhibition is open through tomorrow, Saturday, December 17th, 12-6pm.

About You: you are an artist, an arts organizer, a curator, a writer, an activist, a lover of culture, a thinker, a teacher, a doer.

About us: We, EFA Project Space, are a program that explores connections between artists, creative communities and everyday life. We provide an ever-adapting platform for considering diverse artistic practices on an equal plane, aiming for a deeper level of interaction between people, while exposing the many layers and approaches possible for compelling art-making.

Together: EFA Project Space was created for you. Whether you are physically or virtually present with us, you play an important role in the vibrant activities of this program.

We look back on the past year, reflecting on the success of exhibitions and programs such as I Like the Art World..., Acting the Words..., Sea Worthy, the 2011 Studio Residency for NYC Arts Workers,and our current collaboration Telefone Sem Fio... And we look forward to great plans for 2012: beginning with gestures of exiled Belarus artists abroad; to a mash-up production of Annie the musical; to a debt-obsessed exhibition inspired by David Graeber' recent writings; to a curatorial exercise in object-oriented thinking; to much more.

Thanksgiving Holiday Hours

In observance of the Thanksgiving holiday, EFA Project Space will be open Wednesday, Nov. 23 (12-6pm), closed both Thursday, Nov. 24 and Friday, Nov. 25, and will open to resume normal hours on Saturday, Nov. 26 (12-6pm). Have a relaxing and safe Thanksgiving holiday!
