“SAY THIS.” is an ongoing series of installations constructed of butcher paper, cardboard, wood and paint – with evolving performances, videos and photographs.
“Albatross” is a series of photographs and a video installation comprised of detritus gathered from the Long Island Sound and observations of local waterways.
Martha Burgess is the recipient of fellowships from the Guggenheim Foundation, the Jerome Foundation, MacDowell Colony and NYFA for experimental work in new media, installation and photography.
