Come participate in the July sessions of Assembly Line!
July 13, 2010 Wednesday July 14th, 6:30 pm:
Join our temporary team of artist's helpers as we assist an artist on a project designed especially for this session. Based on a technique that they have been implementing for 25 years, we will be using unique interpretations of language to chart and create a series of abstract communicative forms.
Wednesday July 28th, 6:30 pm:
For this workshop we will be utilizing a craft technique often overlooked in favor of mass production. We will assist an artist with her exploration of how the culture and identity of a place is expressed through souvenirs and kitsch, as well helping to produce a significant portion of this ambitious body of work. We might be getting a little messy at this one!
