Lynne Harlow

EFA Project Space artist Lynne Harlow's second solo exhibition, "Against the Velvet of the Long Goodbye," featuring a site-sensitive installation and live music, will open at MINUS SPACE on Friday, November 1, from 6-9pm and will be on view through Saturday, December 21.

Wafaa Bilal

EFA Studio Member Wafaa Bilal, will be in an international group exhibition, "An I FOR AN EYE", at the Austrian Cultural Forum New York. A panel discussion will take place on opening night, September 17th, from 5pm - 6pm. Reservations are required.

Saya Woolfalk

EFA Studio Member Artist Saya Woolfalk is included in the 8-person exhibition, "Migrating Identities", at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco, CA. The exhibit is on view from June 28th - September 29th, 2013.

Edwin Torres

Former EFA Project Space artist Edwin Torres is organizing, and performing in, The St. Mark Poetry Project's Spring fundraiser, "EPIC NOW: Poetry for Epic Times"  (May 10-11). This two-day event will feature 10 poets and performers who will present their own translations and/or re-interpretations of an epic poem – modern or classic.

EFA Project Space artist, Pablo Helguera, will perform at the Creative Time Summit event October 12th in Skirball Center, NYC. Helguera’s work takes a pedagogic approach to exploring the relationship between art and language, as well as the social dynamics of contemporary art and our daily lives.

MEME FOR NON-HUMAN PERSONS, Study, 2012. Halldor Ulfarsson uses music as a platform for inter-species communication. This video shows Ulfarsson's process as he focuses on communicating with the Humpback Whale.
