As part of her exhibition "El Dorado (The Golden)" at the Lewis H. Latimer House Museum, Member Artist Cecile Chong will be leading a free art making workshop on Sunday, July 22nd from 3-5pm. All ages and families are welcome to join. The installation will be on view until October 14th, 2018.

EFA Member Artists Samira Abbassy, Elizabeth Colomba, Noel Anderson and alumni Maria Berrio have been awarded the 2018 NYFA fellowship in painting and interdisciplinary work. EFA Member Artists Keren Benbenisty and Jordan Casteel were also finalists.

EFA Studio Member Artist Valerie Hegarty's solo exhibition "American Berserk" includes ceramic watermelon sculptures on view at Burning in Water Gallery's new location in San Francisco. Hegarty was also mentioned in the NY Times "What to See in New York Art Galleries This Week" in the group show "Clay Today" at the Hole Gallery in NYC.
